We are seeking an experienced Proposal and Engineering Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing proposals, developing project schedules, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, or chemical) and 5+ years of experience in a project-related industry. Prior experience in water/wastewater infrastructure projects is highly preferred. You should possess excellent math skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. If you're a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Aquatech International offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, company-paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan. We also offer opportunities for career growth and professional development.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide general project management support to the project manager and team
  • Review and understand customer technical specifications relating to water treatment plants
  • Monitor compliance with applicable codes, standards, practices, and specifications
  • Prepare proposal documents/project documents
  • Facilitate timely engineering reviews of vendor quotes
