About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic primary care clinic setting. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will collaborate with a Physician and support staff to examine and treat patients using evidence-based treatments.
Responsibilities- Examine patients, develop plans of care, and order laboratory tests and diagnostic tests as necessary
- Manage acute and chronic conditions through direct intervention, including medication prescription and patient education
- Consult with collaborating Physicians as needed
- Document patient encounters, funding sources, and billing according to policy
- Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from the ANCC or AANP
- Current DEA licensure and prescriptive authority
- Active CPR/BLS Certification
