Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned civil litigation attorney to join our team at GPAC. As a litigation attorney, you will be responsible for providing independent case support, effectively interacting with clients, counsel, and supervising attorneys, and conducting legal research, preparing memoranda, and overseeing junior attorneys.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent case support and effectively interact with clients, counsel, and supervising attorneys.
  • Analyze and draft discovery requests and responses, conduct legal research, prepare memoranda, and oversee junior attorneys.
  • Draft complaints, motions, and other legal documents, assess, draft, and argue dispositive motions.
  • Prepare for and defend depositions of witnesses, participate in court hearings and mediations.
  • Supervise junior attorneys and paralegal staff in trial and arbitration preparations, deliver exceptional service to all clients.
  • Adhere to billing and reporting requirements of the Firm, clients, and insurance carriers.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Two or more years of civil litigation experience.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a heavy caseload, strong research and writing skills.
  • Effective oral advocacy skills and familiarity with rules of evidence, ability to multitask while demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and time management skills, general familiarity with courts, E-Filing, Excel, Word, IManage, Outlook, Serengeti Tracker, Time Matters, and PowerPoint.
