Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and Treat Disorders: Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles, diagnose foot and ankle conditions, and formulate effective treatment plans.
- Perform Surgeries: Perform surgeries related to foot and ankle issues when necessary.
- Prescribe Treatments: Prescribe medications, orthotics, and other treatments to manage pain and improve mobility.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on foot care, preventive measures, and post-treatment care.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in podiatric medicine and treatments.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
- License: Valid state podiatry license.
- Experience: Proven experience as a podiatrist.
- Skill Set: Strong diagnostic and treatment skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
