Solvarus Consulting is dedicated to addressing the most complex challenges in the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.

As a key team member, you will work closely with multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to design and develop innovative Digital Engineering solutions for space and ground applications using advanced Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes.

You will collaborate with SIGINT and GEOINT subject matter experts to create MBSE mission-based models. Additionally, you will be part of the team driving the adoption of MBSE in the Intelligence Community.

We offer training opportunities towards Object Certified Systems Modeler Professional (OCSMP) certification.

Responsibilities:
  • Create engineering artifacts and develop models of mission systems using a MBSE tool suite that includes NoMagic Cameo EA, Rhapsody, Sparx EA as well as other systems engineering tools.
  • Define data standards, structures, and supporting COTS, GOTS, and Open-Source technologies required for data management.
  • Integrate enterprise tools and develop MBSE-based processes to support requirements engineering, ERB process, CONOPS and architecture development, Risk, Issues and Opportunity Management boards, schedule management, test and verification strategy development, and system integration of new initiatives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between MBSE users and the tool development team to communicate modeling needs and innovate potential solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to senior managers regarding the creation and implementation of new MBSE methods and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
  • A minimum of 0 to 5 years of experience or equivalent with a relevant MS/MA degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering processes and experience with industry MBSE tools and modeling methodologies are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with UML/SysML modeling languages and practical application experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, especially when working with tool developers and customers.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of DoDAF, UPDM, and/or UAF frameworks.
