MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join their team in Lincoln City, Oregon.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work with our top healthcare clients. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images, and collaborating with radiologists to diagnose medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media if required
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
  • Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
  • Maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
Requirements
  • Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
  • Most states require licensure
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
