Job Description

To take on the role of Deli Department Leader at Lowes Foods, you will oversee and ensure that our guest service, merchandising programs, and departmental operations in the deli department meet the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing personality and be able to work well with others. You should also possess knowledge of deli operations and be able to supervise people, including training and development.

You will be responsible for achieving budgeted sales, shrink, and profits for the deli department, maintaining desired inventory levels, and operating the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines.

An essential part of this role is ensuring the quality of product meets Lowes Foods standards, maintaining sanitation and safety throughout the department, and providing guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to deli department staff.

In addition, you will perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.

This job requires excellent communication, guest service, and selling skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with Store Managers and Merchandisers.
