Job Summary:
Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team in the Mississippi territory. As a Technical Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our dealers and customers, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle technical support calls, emails, and on-site visits for dealers and customers in the specified territory.
- Manage and prioritize workload demands efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Communicate with Scag Regional Sales Managers to address service, warranty, and parts concerns.
- Assist dealers and end-users with machine troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair.
- Provide in-field on-site support assistance to dealers, as needed.
- Complete field reports with information on issues and resolutions.
- Perform all duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Technical Service or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of related experience in technical service or a related field.
- Advanced hydraulic and electrical knowledge, including the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements:
- Enjoy travel up to 60%.
- Strong communication skills, oral and written.
- Problem-solving skills to diagnose equipment issues.
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical systems, and repair as needed.
- Ability to work independently, with initiative and self-direction.
- Attention to detail to spot issues and complete accurate field reports.
