Key responsibilities of the role:

As a vital member of our team, you will:

  • Comply with General Work Requirements in collaboration with Quality leadership.
  • Investigate and document all maintenance program requirements, including Inspection Programs, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, to create thorough and precise listings for specific aircraft models.
  • Examine all maintenance documentation for an aircraft and perform necessary inspections to accurately configure specific aircraft.
  • Utilize research findings to determine aircraft maintenance requirements relevant to customer visits and compile the results into a clear report for customer delivery.
  • Assist Quality Inspectors by undertaking Quality Inspector duties and returning aircraft to service as requested by Quality Leadership.
  • Ensure that all work packages, records of arrival, maintenance, and corrective actions are documented accurately, and that all specialized customer and regulatory paperwork is complete with required approvals.
  • Conduct walk-around inspections of aircraft prior to their release from maintenance.
  • Oversee the return-to-service process, ensuring all assigned aircraft meet airworthiness standards before being returned to service.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to employees in their areas of qualification.
  • Deliver data to customers as needed.

Qualifications for success:

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • An A&P Certificate.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance (corporate or commercial jet).
  • At least 1 year of experience with Bombardier aircraft.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills to address issues and meet commitments.
  • Strategic thinking abilities to make informed decisions aligned with business objectives.
  • A collaborative spirit to effectively partner with others to achieve results.
  • A proactive attitude towards completing tasks and driving change to meet objectives.
  • A customer-oriented mindset to meet internal and external expectations and build partnerships.
  • The capability to foster personal and professional development in yourself and others.
  • Proficiency in using various measuring tools and basic hand tools, along with the ability to interpret and operate test equipment.
  • The ability to understand and process all relevant regulatory documents and requirements.
  • Familiarity with computer software programs (Excel, Access, Word, Quality Maintenance Tracking, SAP, internet, AMS).
  • A thorough understanding of return-to-service procedures and applicable SAP programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • The ability to train, coach, and mentor employees in their areas of qualification.
