The Department of Public Administration at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is inviting applications for part-time adjunct faculty to instruct in its Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Bachelor of Public Administration and Policy (BPAP) programs. Adjunct faculty will be compensated per course taught, with undergraduate courses primarily scheduled during the day and master's level courses in the evenings. Candidates must possess either a terminal degree in Public Administration (or a related field) or substantial practical experience in relevant topics.Required Qualifications
Master's Level:
- Doctorate degree in public administration (or a related field), or a master's degree in public administration with a strong record of professional experience pertinent to the course's subject matter.
- Master's degree in public administration or a closely related field.
Master's Level:
- Previous teaching experience is advantageous.
- Teaching and/or professional experience relevant to the course's subject matter is preferred.
- UTSA maintains a tobacco-free campus.
- This position is security-sensitive and contingent upon a successful background check.
- Selected applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States at the time of hire.
- A valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be required.
