Fitness Ambassador

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team at Planet Fitness Inc. Located in Austin, TX, this role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service to our members.

Job Summary:

This part-time position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members while working flexible hours. As a Member Services Representative, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that every member has an exceptional experience at our facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: You will be responsible for greeting members, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Shift Coverage: You will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure that our facility is always staffed.
• Account Management: You will be responsible for checking members into the system, facilitating updates to member accounts, and responding to member inquiries.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our members, including cleaning equipment and facilities.

Requirements:

• Customer Service Skills: You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with members and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.
• Flexibility: You must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Availability: You must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Physical Demands: You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly and safely around the facility.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $10.50 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and additional compensation based on performance and tenure.
