About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Support Pharmacist to join our team at CenterWell Primary Care. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispensing Medications and Pharmaceuticals: Prepare and dispense medications and other pharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Immunization Administration: Administer immunizations to patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Supervise pharmacy technicians, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient charges.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with information and education on medications and pharmaceuticals, promoting health literacy and adherence.
  • Decision-Making: Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components, exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 or more years of technical experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Licensure: Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
  • Certification: Certification to administer immunizations in Florida.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to locations within the Daytona Market (Ormond Beach, Port Orange, Orange City).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PharmD: Possession of a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
