Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Substance Use Counselor who specializes in prevention and behavioral modification. This role involves working under general supervision to enhance mental well-being for individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling services to individuals and groups, fostering optimal mental health.
  • Address a variety of challenges including addiction, substance misuse, family dynamics, and parenting difficulties.
  • Lead and coordinate a team when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited institution along with two years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution with four years of relevant experience.
  • At least one year of experience in a position equivalent to Behavioral Health Counselor 2 (HCP101).

Additional Notes: Certain roles may necessitate specific certification or licensure.
