Compensation: $45 per hour for standard time; $67.50 per hour for overtime.

Qualified candidates from outside the area will receive a daily allowance of $176 for accommodation, with a maximum weekly allowance of $1,232.

As a Composite Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Executing hand layup of advanced composite materials on designated tooling according to specific work instructions and client requirements.
  • Conducting advanced composite operations such as trimming, vacuum-bagging, basic repairs, material preparation, weighing, finishing, and molding tasks.
  • Performing inspections of in-process and finished products using hand measurement tools and various testing procedures as necessary.
  • Maintaining records of inspection results where applicable.
  • Managing work orders and time calculations to ensure product quality while providing suggestions for enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in layup or lamination.
  • At least 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.

Working Environment:

  • Involves standing, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for shifts lasting 10-12 hours.

This position is expected to last for an extended period, with the possibility of extension.
