Advanced Practice Healthcare Specialist

This position provides comprehensive coordinated primary and preventive health care services to an ethnically diverse patient population across the lifespan, including prenatal care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in a primary care setting.
- Conduct thorough health assessments, diagnose, and manage a range of medical conditions.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, and prepare case histories.
- Recognize and respond to substance abuse and other complex health issues.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Support the development of clinical procedures and protocols.
- Remain current with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
Education
Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies or Doctorate degree in Nursing.
Experience
Experience in delivering services to medically underserved populations and cultural competency.
Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency with electronic health records.
