Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dishwashing Supervisor to join our team at JW Marriott/Ritz-Carlton LALIVE. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our dishwashing department, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and providing exceptional support to our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and assist Stewards in order to optimize cleaning processes and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Monitor and maintain water temperature and chemical levels in the dishwashing machine and hand wash stations.
  • Assist with Banquet plate-ups and provide support to cooks and kitchen staff as needed.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
