Job Title: Registered Nurse Clinical Staff Leader

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Clinical Staff Leader to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Clinical Staff Leader will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in the ICU, providing clinical guidance and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nurses in the ICU, providing clinical guidance and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Provide education and training to nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Two years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
