Position Overview:
TRAVEL - RN - Maternal/Infant Care - Night Shift
Experience required in infant delivery nursing and newborn post-delivery transition care, as well as Special Care Level 2 Nursery.

Essential Skills:
Candidates must possess the following skills; those lacking these qualifications will not be considered for the position.

Infant Transition / Delivery Experience:

Advanced competencies required include care for feeder/growers, NG feeds, drug withdrawal infants, and IV fluid management. Candidates with these skills will be prioritized.


Common Procedures:

Typical tasks performed in the unit include:
- NG tube placement
- IV initiation
- Stabilization of infants through intubation and central line placement


Ideal Candidate Profile:

We seek individuals who fit well within our team dynamics.


Scheduling Information:

Scheduling requirements include:
- 50% weekends
- Floating policy across Well Baby, Transition, and Special Care Nursery


Unit Details:

Number of Beds: 14 LDRP
Staff Composition: Day Shift includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters.


Night Shift Patient Ratios:
PP/WB 1:7, SCN 1:3
Unit Staffing Description:

Includes 1 unit secretary and 1 OB Tech available 24/7.


Equipment and Documentation:

Utilizes GEEMR for documentation with Meditech / CPN Centricity.


Dress Code:

Galaxy Blue Scrubs
