Job Overview

The Colson Group Holdings LLC is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations.

Position Summary:As a vital member of our team, you will ensure a seamless flow of products in and out of the warehouse, alongside appropriate material organization. You will be responsible for placing received items into inventory and confirming their readiness for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive products and accurately place them into inventory using established processes.
  • Transfer finished goods from the production area and prepare them for shipment utilizing the required systems.
  • Document material movements in Epicor to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Operate material handling equipment, specifically Stand Up Lifts, as needed.

Required Experience: (minimum of 6 months to 1 year in each of the following)

  • Understanding of product flow within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in operating material handling equipment.
  • Ability to recognize the importance of accurate inventory transactions.
  • Collaboration with various departments and leadership to meet objectives, preferably 1-2 years.

Educational Background:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree.
  • Required: High school diploma or GED.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with material handling equipment operation or willingness to undergo training.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Ability to utilize RF scanners and tablets or receive training for their use.
  • Proficiency in Epicor ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality service in all transactions and adherence to company policies.
  • A strong work ethic is essential.

  • Ability to lift heavy packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending or stooping may be necessary.

Certification:

Forklift certification is required.
