The Role: Key Responsibilities

This highly visible role reports to the Global Data Lead, collaborating with diverse teams including client leads, data engineers, analysts, designers, solution owners, and various COEs in a global matrix structure. On a day-to-day basis, the Director will head up and lead the data management and dedicated data team (approximately 10 people) for a group of client engagements across multiple industries.

You will work closely with the Squad lead and client leads to manage clients, timelines, and delivery expectations while driving innovation and automation across the squad. Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing client relationships and work streams
  • Leading a geographically dispersed team across APAC and NA, fostering effective communication and collaboration across time zones
  • Mentoring team members on career growth and technical skillsets
  • Providing technical consultation to client leads and client teams for complex data requirements
  • Coordinating with resourcing teams to provide client leads with data scoping and resource estimates
  • Acting as a player/coach, working in the day-to-day data processes as needed to meet client expectations

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 8-10 years+ background in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field
  • In-depth experience with all things data, including SQL, ETL, and robust QA processes
  • Familiarity with the advertising ecosystem and appropriate metrics, measurement, and reporting
  • Project management skills, including planning tasks and deliverables, managing timelines and risks, and overseeing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to manage and motivate Gain Theory team members
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Earnings and Benefits

We offer an estimated salary range of $130,000 - $180,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
