Job Responsibilities and QualificationsAs a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Nurse at Henrico Doctors' Hospital, you will be responsible for performing specialized procedures in the outpatient setting (such as DSE, TEE's, Cardioversions, and Tilt tests). Your duties will also include transporting patients to and from the Cath Lab and providing comprehensive care documentation for all admissions and recovery room patients. We are a dedicated and dynamic team looking for an exceptional addition like you.
- Administer medications via all prescribed routes.
- Participate actively in ongoing education within the unit.
- Effectively communicate verbal and written information, instructions, or education to patients, family members, and other healthcare team members as necessary.
- Oversee all phases of the digital/filmless CD system.
- Act as a liaison for the Cath Lab to foster relationships with physicians and other departments.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing School (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- A minimum of one year of experience in ICU/CCU or comparable ER, Cath Lab, or recovery settings.
