About the Role

SNC Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Pilot and Mission Support Expert, you will play a critical role in supporting our nation's war fighters by operating advanced aircraft and equipment in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct casualty evacuation, maritime patrol, experimental test flights, special mission training, fighter aircraft training, and other missions to support our nation's war fighters.
  • Operate advanced aircraft and equipment, including ISR systems, to gather intelligence and conduct surveillance.
  • Work closely with our team to design, integrate, test, and certify C4ISR systems to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide training and support to our pilots and crew members to ensure they have the skills and expertise needed to operate our aircraft and equipment.
  • Collaborate with our customers to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Requirements
  • Typically 6 or more years of relevant experience in aviation operations or a related field.
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with single or multi-engine and instrument rating without limitations.
  • FAA issued Second Class Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to pass a FAA/Military Pilot Background Check and mandatory drug and alcohol screen.
  • A minimum of 500 hours total fixed-wing as pilot-in-command (PIC) time in a multi-engine turbo prop aircraft, jet aircraft or combination thereof in aircraft with GTOW 12,500 or greater.
  • Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command pandemic restriction requirements for deployed locations.
  • Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Issued Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • Recent mission completion and/or prior service.
  • US Military survival and/or physiological training.
  • 1500 hours total fixed-wing time as pilot-in-command (PIC) or second-in-command (SIC) in a multi-engine turbo-prop aircraft, jet aircraft or combination thereof with GTOW 12,500 or greater.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, NASA or US Military.
