Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

Join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with Aureus Medical Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and ready for use.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent.
  • Assist the physician during procedures, providing support and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Monitor patients during and after procedures, reporting any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedure outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current WA state license as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a cath lab or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-100lbs and stand for long periods.
