Mental Health Therapist

At Southeast Kansas Mental Health Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Integrative Care Therapist to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Integrative Care Therapist will provide holistic and patient-centered therapeutic interventions to support individuals' mental, emotional, and physical well-being. This role involves working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities and lifestyle changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake and treatment need assessments to identify individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities and lifestyle changes.
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions to support individuals' mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Consult with community agencies, organizations, employers, or individuals to provide education and support.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation as required by State licensing requirements and Center policy.
- Participate in clinical and administrative meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Rotate on-call to complete Mental Health Reform and Medicaid Pre-Admission assessments.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and professional reading to stay current with best practices.
- Act in accordance with SEKMHC and professional ethical principles and guidelines; relevant State and Federal Statutes and Regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree required.
- Licensed through the Kansas BSRB.
- Pass KBI, DCF child & adult abuse registry, motor vehicle screen, and background checks.
- Reliable and insured transportation.
Employment Status: Exempt
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time
Salary: Per Pay Schedule
