We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Safety Systems Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety systems engineering and specifications development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Mangan's safety policies and procedures, ensuring effective QA/QC processes are followed, and providing recommendations for training and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety systems engineering and specifications development
  • Lead project teams and motivate team members to achieve project goals
  • Ensure compliance with Mangan's safety policies and procedures
  • Provide recommendations for training and staff development

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in safety systems engineering and applications consulting
  • BS in Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Functional Safety Certification required (TÜV FSE, exida CFSP, or ISA84 SIS Fundamentals)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IPL Assessments, SIL Calculations, Safety Requirement Specs, and Safety Lifecycle Management Software
  • Experience with SLIM Process writing
  • Experience with SIS/PLC Platforms including Emerson Delta V (CSLS and SLS), Triconex, and/or Yokogawa Prosafe
