Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain our industrial dishwasher to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
  • Wash and sanitize glassware, utensils, and other equipment by hand when necessary.
  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles, including recycling bins, to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clean and sanitize iced tea, coffee, and milkshake machines daily to prevent bacterial growth and maintain a clean environment.
  • Rotate dishes and equipment to reduce wear and tear, ensuring they remain in good condition.
  • Clean and organize dish storage areas to maintain a clutter-free workspace.
  • Follow all sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
  • Provide assistance to our prep cooks and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak periods.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned by management.
  • Clean up spills and broken glassware immediately to prevent accidents and maintain a clean environment.
  • Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent critical thinking and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • The ability to operate industrial machinery and lift loads up to 20 pounds is necessary.
  • Willingness to work in a hot, humid environment and on your feet for extended periods is required.
