Role Responsibilities:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential care to residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), LPN/LVN, or Director of Memory Care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs.
- Measuring and recording residents' height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
- Identifying and reporting any unusual changes in residents' health to a supervisor.
- Assisting with medication reminders, personal hygiene, dressing, and daily living activities.
- Delivering compassionate support to residents experiencing dementia.
- Facilitating resident transfers, positioning, and mobility.
- Ensuring proper skin care for residents.
- Contributing to residents' assessments and care plans.
- Adhering to the schedule of resident needs as directed by supervisors.
- Providing emotional and social support to enhance residents' well-being.
Advocacy and Rights:
You will play a crucial role in promoting and safeguarding residents' rights, assisting them in making informed choices, and treating them with dignity and respect. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Protecting residents' personal belongings.
- Reporting any suspected abuse or neglect.
- Avoiding physical restraints in line with professional standards.
- Encouraging independent expression and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Field of Study: Clinical/Nursing
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a clinical/nursing setting.
Certifications: CNA licensure as per state regulations.
Language Proficiency: Adequate proficiency in English to fulfill job responsibilities and communicate effectively.
Technical Skills: Basic computer skills are required.

- Ability to collaborate within a team and manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
