Aerotek is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in the Mobile area. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled, emergency, routine repairs, calibrations, and/or preventative maintenance on electrical equipment in a steel pipe manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret drawings/sketches to determine the best work procedures and tools needed to troubleshoot/repair problems
  • Repair, rebuild, and test electrical components to ensure equipment is up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Work with various equipment, including AC and DC motors, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, inverters, and motor drives
  • Use computer-based software to complete job tasks and troubleshoot PLC-based equipment
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in an industrial plant/manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use computer-based software to complete job tasks
  • Troubleshoot and/or modify PLC-based equipment
  • Work with various equipment, including AC and DC motors, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, inverters, and motor drives
  • Print reading, drawing interpretation, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Proper use of tools and measuring devices and safe work mentality
