Senior Construction Engineer/Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Engineer/Inspector to join our team at T.Y. Lin International. As a key member of our Construction Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of various transportation projects, including bridges and highways.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Verify and document contractor findings and report to the Resident Engineer.
- Monitor field investigations and provide technical assistance to other inspectors and Resident Engineers.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety rules and regulations.
- Document contractor manpower and equipment.
- Read and understand contract documents, including plans and specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
- EIT certification required, PE license preferred.
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in complex roadway and bridge construction.
- Proven experience in overseeing company and local agency staff and subconsultants.
- Ability to effectively work with the Resident Engineer and clients to resolve project issues.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Previous construction management experience for ADOT projects or projects with ADOT oversight is preferred.
