Nurse Specialist PRN Opportunity

The Nurse Specialist PRN position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care. You'll have the chance to work in areas such as Adult Critical Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Operating Room, and PACU, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that support excellence in care.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland or a compact state, as well as current CPR certification. A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the area of interest is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and coordinate programs that include hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community, and employees of both the hospital and the university.
- Provide direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
- Work collaboratively with, and provide leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.
- Participate in promoting and identifying quality improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty.
- Initiate and participate in the research activities relevant to specialty area.
- Implement initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
- Foster a clinical environment of service excellence.
