Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. As a CNA at Mary Wade Home, you will provide basic care to residents and assist them in daily activities. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a high-quality professional culture focused on resident needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, walking, and using the bathroom
  • Follow the care plan for each resident, ensuring their needs are met
  • Be on-time and punctual for shifts, ensuring continuity of care
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers, demonstrating kindness, concern, and empathy
  • Uphold medical and nursing care standards and practices, adhering to infection control guidelines
Requirements
  • MUST HAVE a current CT C.N.A certification
  • Provide basic care to residents and assist them in daily activities
  • Be on-time every time
  • Follow the care plan every day
  • Be enthusiastic about a career in Nursing and Healthcare
  • Be friendly, courteous, and supportive to residents, families, and coworkers
  • Speak with respect and professionalism to all
  • Uphold medical and nursing care standards and practices
  • MUST HAVE a valid C.N.A license to be considered for the position
  • Prior Certified Nursing Assistant experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
  • CPR certification is not required
