Rehabilitation Assistant

About the Role

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities

As a Rehabilitation Aide, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing support to therapists during patient treatments, including setting up equipment and assisting with exercises
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
• Assisting with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Developing a rapport with patients and families, and providing emotional support and guidance

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
