Job Summary

Randstad is seeking a skilled Yard Jockey to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials and equipment within our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport materials and equipment to and from various departments on site
  • Operate yard trucks or tractors to position units for loading and unloading
  • Inspect equipment and perform basic maintenance to ensure safety
  • Coordinate with warehouse and shipping personnel to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate logs of trailer movements and activities
Requirements

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
