Our client, a prominent financial institution, is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer III on a contractual basis.

Work Environment : Hybrid role requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week

Role Summary:

This position entails providing technical assistance and maintenance for software applications. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, ensuring seamless application functionality, and offering user support.

The Application Support Engineer will work collaboratively with various teams, including development, IT, and customer support, to address application-related challenges and improve user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident Management:

• Address and resolve application-related issues reported by users.

• Document incidents and manage them using a ticketing system.

• Provide timely updates to users and stakeholders regarding issue status.

• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues, including software bugs and performance challenges.

• Utilize logs, monitoring tools, and diagnostic resources to identify root causes.

• Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions and workarounds.

• System Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Monitor application performance and availability through various tools.
