Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Scrub Tech to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a Surgical Scrub Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the sterility of the operating room and providing exceptional support to our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
  • Assist the circulating nurse and surgical team in maintaining a sterile environment
  • Prepare and set up surgical supplies and equipment
  • Participate in sponge, needle, and instrument counts
  • Assist with gowning and gloving surgeons and assistants
  • Retain and transport specimens to pathology
  • Assist with environmental hazard and infection control surveillance
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Scrub Technician Program or equivalent experience
  • Two years of experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail
Work Environment

The work environment for this role is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to surgical procedures and medical equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
