Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter to join our team at Berry Global Inc. As a Mold Setter, you will be responsible for setting and maintaining molds to produce high-quality parts. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and maintain molds to produce high-quality parts
• Perform mold trouble shooting and repair
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with the Tool Room Lead and Molding Manager to schedule mold changes and maintenance tasks
• Keep the tooling area and equipment clean and in good working order
• Assist with tracking tooling supplies and inventory levels
• Complete all assigned paperwork

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three to five years of related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions

Work Environment:

The work environment for this role is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on safety and quality. The Mold Setter will be working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.
