Operating Room Nurse

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at the New Brunswick campus. As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room flow.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's unique needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in perioperative nursing.
- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- Minimum of one year OR RN experience or recent graduate of a periop 101 program
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire
- CNOR
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Night Shift, 24 hours per week, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am
- Two 12-hour shifts
- Weekends, Holidays and on call as assigned
