At NuNu's Fresh Market, we're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. As a key member of our deli department, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing high-quality food products.

• Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly demeanor, take orders, and provide recommendations on menu items to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and assemble a variety of deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and entrees, according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment, monitoring product freshness and rotating stock to ensure quality and minimize waste.
• Maintaining Displays: Keep deli displays clean, organized, and visually appealing, ensuring all products are properly labeled with accurate pricing and descriptions.
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory to maintain adequate supply levels, notifying management of any low stock items or equipment issues.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the deli department, communicating effectively with coworkers and management to address any issues or concerns.

• Previous Experience: Prior experience working in a deli or food service environment is preferred but not required; we're willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
• Food Handling Certification: Certification in food handling and sanitation is a plus, but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate.
• Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude, ability to interact positively with customers and address their needs effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
