Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Public Health Care Supervisor to join our team at Sacramento County. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality public health services.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train nurses and other healthcare professionals in the provision of public health services
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for public health programs and services
  • Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers to promote public health initiatives and programs
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members in addressing complex public health issues and cases
  • Prepare reports and make recommendations to higher-level management on public health program priorities and services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Senior Public Health Nurse or equivalent
  • Current Registered Nurse license and Public Health Nurse specialty certificate issued by the state of California
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders
