About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a contract therapist in an exceptional school district. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in a child's life.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work with elementary school students, providing support and therapy to help them overcome speech and language challenges. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced educators and therapists, sharing knowledge and best practices to deliver exceptional student outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in an elementary school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop strategies to address them
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure seamless transitions and progress monitoring
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A valid School Speech Language Pathologist credential/license or be in the process of obtaining one in the state of practice
  • At least 1 year of verifiable experience as a School Speech Language Pathologist within the last 3 years
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality services and supporting student growth and development
