Nurse - Weekend Shift in Waconia, MN

With over 100 years of experience providing housing and services to seniors, our not-for-profit organization is committed to quality care and service in a Christian environment. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our team, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
- Administer medications or treatments as ordered
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
You will work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team. Your ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is essential. You will also have the opportunity to counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician on prevention and treatment plans.
We offer a competitive salary range of $28.00 - $36.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to your hourly wage, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of $10,000. To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. An associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. If the position requires IV therapy/management skills, additional education and training requirements may apply. Currently, you must hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing Board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
