The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dining utensils, glassware, and china returned to the dishwashing area. This position involves maintaining the dishwashing environment in compliance with health department regulations, managing waste disposal, and ensuring that all exterior waste areas are kept tidy. Collaboration with Sous Chefs, kitchen managers, line cooks, and front-of-house staff is essential to guarantee that all dishes are effectively cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas, food storage zones, and waste disposal areas at all times.
  • Assist in inventory control and supply management by handling items carefully to prevent breakage.
  • Adhere to health department regulations and food industry standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including preparation tasks or other responsibilities as needed.
