Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Hirebridge Organic is seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for handling mortgage-related litigation files in State and Federal Courts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice to our mortgage servicing clients
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal sources, including statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes
  • Prepare and file legal briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and other necessary documentation during the course of litigation in State District and County Courts, Probate Court, Appellate Courts, Federal District Courts, and Federal Bankruptcy Courts
  • Handle civil litigation cases from referral to resolution, which may involve written and oral advocacy, motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, trial, and appellate court briefing and argument
  • Meet hourly billing requirements

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Jurisprudence degree
  • Licensed to practice law in the State and Federal Courts in Texas, including Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals
  • 5+ years of experience in finance or representation of financial institutions in real estate related matters
  • 8+ years of Litigation experience
  • Federal court experience, appellate experience, and trial experience
