Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential personal care services, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting, under the direction and supervision of our Supervising Nurse.

Responsibilities:

• Provide light housekeeping services to maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Provide companionship and socialization to clients, including spending time with them, playing games, and accompanying them on trips and outings
• Provide hands-on personal care services, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting, as specified in the Care/Service Plan
• Assist clients with transferring and lifting, raising them in beds, and turning them
• Obtain vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, urine samples, weights, and intake/output, as needed
• Transport, escort, or accompany clients to appointments, entertainment, exercise, recreation, shopping, or social activities
• Prepare meals and manage home finances, including meal planning, shopping, budgeting, and bill paying

Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• NC Certified Nursing Assistant I
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Have valid motor vehicle insurance and a valid driver's license
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to lift a person weighing approximately 120 pounds or more
• TB Skin Test and fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for some positions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience providing support services in a similar environment
• Caring attitude and genuine interest in people
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform a combination of sitting and standing for short and extended periods of time
• Comfortable working various shifts and willingness to be flexible
• Ability to utilize basic electronic services to document patient care
