About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Culture and Instruction to join our team at Independence Preparatory Academy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the academic and cultural direction of our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master the foundations of our academic content and social-emotional curriculum, including a deep understanding of the Science of Reading and aligned practices.
  • Build a joyful and rigorous school culture amongst fellow leaders, teachers, staff, students, and families.
  • Drive your team to achieve impactful outcomes in academics, social-emotional learning, and classroom management by analyzing student performance data to identify areas for improvement, developing strategies for growth, and monitoring progress toward goals.
  • Lead weekly professional development opportunities with other leaders and colleagues to support educators in personal and professional growth.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree and at least 3+ years of experience in teaching and leading teams to excellent outcomes.
  • A passion for scholar-centered learning and a commitment to building alongside each other.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, collaboration with other adults and families, and a belief in our model and graduate profile.
  • Knowledge of self, confidence in describing your identity, purpose, and passions.
