Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. As a Custodian, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, offices, and client spaces to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Ensure the exteriors of buildings and grounds are kept clean and free of ice and snow.
  • Inventory and reorder janitorial supplies as needed.
  • Assist the maintenance and custodial crew as required.
  • Perform miscellaneous errands as directed.
  • Report damaged ceiling tiles, wall defects, and lighting outages to the maintenance team.
  • Respond to alarm calls and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Some custodial experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Considerable knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding client confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to project a professional image at all times.
