About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to pediatric patients with hematological and oncological conditions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric hematology and oncology
To be considered for this role, you must have a current RN license, a strong foundation in pediatric nursing, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We also require a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of experience in a pediatric hematology/oncology setting.
