Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Vista Park Health & Rehab. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide daily care to patients, including personal grooming and hygiene
- Support patients with care such as oral, denture, and skin care
- Assist patients with daily care, including bathing, dressing, and bathroom activities
- Assist patients in and out of bed and into a wheelchair, using the correct transfer belt
- Take vital signs of patients, including temperature, blood pressure, and respiration, and record information
- Assist patients to the dining area for meals and may be required to assist with feeding and documenting intake
- Assist with personal grooming, including brushing hair, trimming fingernails and toenails, and shaving
- Turn patients intermittently if they are bedridden due to illness
- Document and/or report information regarding patients' health, I&O, any change in medical condition, and care given
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as requested
- Understand and utilize care plans
- Identify the four basic food groups on a sample breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal
- Apply and release restraints and provide exercise
- Practice proper body mechanics while moving/transferring patients
- Provide range of motion exercises for patients
- Recognize and report signs/symptoms of abuse and/or change in condition
- Properly document in accordance with established guidelines
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred
- A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the State of Georgia is required
We offer a competitive salary range of $14 to $17/hour, shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 7 paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan with match.
