Workforce Development Specialist

Job Summary:
This role will play a key part in the learning and development of our workforce, maintaining accurate training records and creating learning plans and training content as directed by the Workforce Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with experience in manufacturing environments and a proven track record of effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and log training records
• Develop learning plans and training content for employees
• Organize and maintain our Learning Management System (LMS)
• Track training activities and metrics using Excel documents
• Facilitate training sessions using PowerPoint, Adobe, and common LMS training tools
• Draft professional communication with management and vendors
• Be flexible and adaptable to changing project demands and timelines
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, education, or related field
• 2+ years of training experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with training video production, learning management systems, and/or training program development
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization
• Ability to navigate a Windows-based computer environment
• Willingness to work in a wide variety of departments as management directs
