This role involves performing electroencephalograms (EEGs) to measure and record electrical activity in the brain. The successful candidate will work closely with neurologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality EEG readings while providing excellent care and support to patients during the procedure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation: Review patient medical history and physician orders to determine the appropriate EEG procedure, explain the EEG procedure to the patient, verify patient identity, and obtain informed consent if required.
  • Performing EEG Procedures: Apply electrodes to the patient's scalp using conductive gel or paste, monitor patient responses during the test, operate EEG equipment, and adjust equipment settings as necessary to obtain clear and accurate recordings.
  • Patient Comfort and Safety: Ensure patient safety and comfort during the EEG procedure, address patient concerns, provide reassurance, and monitor for signs of discomfort or distress.
